Dr. Jason Williams, MD MEd FRCSC, is a Royal College certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII Health Sciences Centre. He offers a full range of reconstructive, breast, hand, and skin cancer surgeries, in addition to aesthetic procedures of the face and body. Dr. Williams is Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Dalhousie University, where he leads a team dedicated to innovation, education, and patient-centered care.

A native Nova Scotian, Dr. Williams graduated from Acadia University before completing his Doctor of Medicine and Plastic Surgery Residency at Dalhousie University. He pursued advanced fellowship training in breast and oncologic reconstruction at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Returning home to Halifax in 2006, he combined his surgical practice with a passion for teaching, earning a Master’s in Medical Education from the University of Cincinnati.
